PROJECT: ECCWORLD at RSA Conference 2007

SCENARIO: Certicom was seeking a partner to create, design, and execute a successful marketing and event plan to increase awareness of Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), position Certicom as the ECC leader, and generate sales leads.
SERVICES PROVIDED: Event theme/identity development, pre-event and on-site marketing promotions campaign, booth concept and design (partnership with Square Mile Studio), overall project management for event logistics, budget management, and vendor selection
RESULTS:
Attune successfully implemented an event marketing campaign that exceeded Certicom's marketing objectives. The theme ECCWorld and the supporting booth design provided a foundation and atmosphere that utilized visual graphics and architecture to inform, excite, and evangelize the audience around Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). Traffic and buzz was generated with an onsite promotions plan that incorporated fabulous prizes, daily book signings with the guru of ECC, an active coffee bar, and unique specialty drinks each evening during happy hour. The promotion plan highlighted key corporate messages and Certicoms top partners. This effort was further enhanced through the use of lighting, materials, and visual effects within the booth. By creating a lounge environment, RSA attendees were able to congregate and network within an inviting booth environment. Certicom executives and sales teams fully leveraged this opportunity to connect with key prospects, customers, and members of the media. Certicoms message and interaction with attendees was also extended by creating partner demo stations which provided valuable proof of concept for ECC. Overall, the number of leads captured during the event exceed their project goals. |
